Reminder! Lead Line Inventory Survey

7/15/2024

REMINDER! I know many of you have responded, and we thank you for your efforts. But we are still needing more participation. If you have NOT responded to the questions below please do so at your earliest convenience.

Lead Service Line Inventory Survey

Last month we alerted users of the Environmental Protection Agency regulation regarding lead in municipal water systems. Our water does not have measurable amounts of lead in it, but it is possible for lead from older, no longer allowed to be used, piping to have lead that can leech into individual residence’s water. The Utah Division of Drinking Water has mandated that all municipal water systems in Utah must submit an Initial Service Line Inventory of our water distribution system. To start our compliance efforts, we would like you to please answer the following questions. You may submit your answers on paper to the town Hall, a drop box is located on 7381 E 200 S. or via email to waterbilling@huntsvilletown.com. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in conducting this important effort.

When was your home built (even an estimate will help)? :

Water is supplied to your house via piping from the meter (usually in the front yard). If you can see where it enters the house, what kind of material (galvanized iron, copper, plastic) is the pipe? :

Do you know if this is the original piping or was it replaced in the past? :
